Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

High river levels on Sunday may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on Sunday 15/02/2026, with 15mm of rain forecast. River levels in East Meon and West Meon are falling slowly. Levels in Wickham remain high. Flooding is continuing to affect gardens and the Millennium Water Meadows at Wickham. If rain falls as forecast today (Sunday 15/02/2026), river levels will rise this afternoon and evening. Flooding will affect roads through East Meon, and West Meon including Lynch Lane, Shoe Lane and Church Lane, Exton and Bucks Head Hill at Meonstoke. Flooding could further affect areas of Wickham. Further rainfall is forecast on Tuesday (17/02/2026) and Wednesday (18/02/2026). River levels and flood risk will remain high into next week. We are closely monitoring the situation and will ensure the river is kept free of reported blockages. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have, particularly for properties close to the river, or with pumps for groundwater. This message will be updated by 6:00PM on 17 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
