Flooding possible. Be prepared.
This is a Flood Alert Update. Flooding could still affect locations near the Rivers Lim, Char, Winniford, Simene, Brit, Asker, Mangerton and Bride. Properties at Church Street, Burton Bradstock may need to prepare their pumps with continuing rainfall and rising river levels. The weather continues to be unsettled and further rain today has caused river levels to rise again. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 16 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
