High river levels on Friday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 06 February 2026 , following 30mm of rain over Thursday and Friday morning.
River levels are high and rising at Pulborough. Flooding is affecting the A29, gardens of properties on Lower Street and Swan Corner, Pulborough and Bridge Cottages, Greatham. Over high tides (14:15 06/12/2026, 02:45 and 15:00 07/02/2026) water will be high up banks near Houghton Bridge, Amberley, near St Edmunds Cottage, Houghton, and may affect Queen Street riverside properties, and Mill Road car park Arundel. Similar to recent days. Isolated rain is forecast Friday, and another 10mm Saturday morning. River levels may slowly rise over the weekend, potentially close to properties Sunday.
We are closely monitoring the situation Our pumps in Pulborough are running to help reduce flood risk.
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have Install flood protection products in Pulborough, Amberley and Arundel.
