Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High river levels on Wednesday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 11 February 2026 .
The River Arun is high in Pulborough, but falling. Minor flood impacts will continue to affect fields, the A29, gardens of properties on Lower Street and Swan Corner, Pulborough and Bridge Cottages, Greatham. Tides are low, only field flooding is expected near Amberley and Arundel. On Wednesday evening a band of rain is forecast, currently thought to mainly affect the Sussex coast. Therefore, the river in Pulborough is expected to continue to fall. However, more rain is forecast on Friday and Sunday. River levels could rise from Saturday, with minor flooding possible in Pulborough next week.
We are closely monitoring the situation . Our pumps in Pulborough are running to help reduce flood risk.
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have . Install flood protection products in Pulborough, Amberley and Arundel.
