Flood warning

The River Arun is high following weeks of rain. Minor flood impacts will continue to affect the A29, gardens of properties on Lower Street and Swan Corner, Pulborough and Bridge Cottages, Greatham. Another 10-20mm of rain is forecast Thursday afternoon through to Friday afternoon. Then more rain is forecast Saturday evening. River levels in Pulborough could continue rising until Monday. If as much rain falls as predicted, property flooding could be possible in Pulborough Sunday. Our pumps in Pulborough are running to help reduce flood risk. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have in Pulborough. This message will be updated by 20:00 06/02/2026.
