Flood warning

The River Arun is high in Pulborough, but now falling following Friday's rain. Through Saturday, minor flood impacts will continue to affect fields, the A29, gardens of properties on Lower Street and Swan Corner, Pulborough and Bridge Cottages, Greatham. Only isolated showers are forecast this weekend. River levels should continue to fall, but flood impacts will remain until next week. Unsettled weather could continue throughout February. On Tuesday and Wednesday bands of rain are forecast. If as much rain falls as predicted, from Wednesday evening, flooding could return. Our pumps in Pulborough are running to help reduce flood risk. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have. This message will be updated by 20:00 08/02/2026.
