Flooding expected. Take action now.
In response to the heavy rainfall we have seen over the weekend, we have seen flooding in the West Drayton area, specifically in and around the caravan parks off Thorney Mill Road.
We have had staff in the area assisting the London Fire Brigade and have been checking for and clearing any river blockages.
Although we are not anticipating any significant rainfall overnight, the risk to properties near the river along Thorney Mill Road is expected to remain.
Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in this area. Residents are strongly urged to take action now.
We will be closely monitoring the situation overnight and this message will be updated by 9am tomorrow morning, or as the situation changes.
