The River Colne has continued to fall today, Thursday 8 October. We do not expect any further flooding to properties at West Drayton.
Our incident response staff have been on site today and have pumped water away from the affected sites where possible. A sandbag wall has also been constructed next to the River Colne.
Although there has been further rainfall today we do not expect this to significantly affect river levels.
There may be water in the floodplain for several days. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and reissue flood alerts and warnings if required.
