Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Flood water is still affecting the caravan sites close to the River Colne in West Drayton.
Overnight and tomorrow (Wednesday) will be mostly dry, so river levels should continue to slowly fall. Further rain is possible tomorrow evening and on Thursday.
Our incident response staff have visited the affected site today to continue our investigation into the cause of the flooding. We will attempt to pump water away from the site tomorrow and plan to build a small sandbag wall next to the River Colne where there may be a low spot in the river bank.
Flood water may be deep and fast flowing. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
We are closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated by 9am tomorrow morning, or as the situation changes.
