Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are falling at the Lydbrook river gauge but remain high. Flooding of property is expected to continue. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Lydbrook. The B4234 at Lower Lydbrook is affected.
Observed peak:- Ross-on-Wye 4.56m on Monday morning 09/12/2024.
Observed peak:- Lydbrook 6.23m on Monday afternoon 09/12/2024.
No further rainfall is forecast and we expect river levels to continue falling. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities. Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers.
