Property flooding is expected. River levels have risen rapidly on the Sor as a result of heavy rainfall from Storm Bert. Therefore, flooding of property is possible this afternoon and overnight 24/11/24. Levels are forecast to continue to rise through the afternoon and into the evening.
Further heavy rainfall is forecast this afternoon 24/11/24 with a drier day tomorrow. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Have a bag ready with vital items like medicines and insurance documents. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated by tomorrow morning, 25/11/24, or earlier as the situation changes.
