The forecast for Friday (03/11/23) is for localised showers, allowing river levels to continue to fall. On Saturday (4/11/23), from approximately 04:00, a further low pressure system will bring frontal rain to the River Dun catchment. The current forecast suggests isolated rainfall totals of up to 50mm are possible. If realised, this will cause the river to rise again quickly and we may need to re issue the flood warning. The flood alert (be prepared) will remain in force for the next 24 hours (16:00 Saturday 04/11/23).
