Water levels in the River Dun, are now falling, following yesterday’s rain when 33 mm was recorded at Romsey. This is a significant amount of rain in a short period of time. This is in addition to the prolonged rainfall over the last few months.
The weather is now fairly dry for the next 5 days. We expect water levels to continue to fall over the next few days.
A Flood Alert for the River Dun remains in force.
We will continue to monitor the river and weather forecast information.
