The water level in the River Dun at Dunbridge is high and rising. In the last 8 hours, 32mm of rain has been recorded in Romsey. This is a large amount in a short period of time. From 22:30 this evening (04/01/2024), property at West Dean near the railway line at the bottom of Rectory Hill could experience flooding. Showery conditions are forecast for the next 4 hours. The river will rise until approximately 01:00 on Friday morning (05/01/2024). Our operations staff are keeping the river free of reported blockages. We continue to monitor the river. Please take action to protect property and move any cars which are parked at Rectory Hill. This Flood Warning will be updated by 15:00 on Friday 05/01/2024.
