Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Thursday.
Flooding is expected on 18 December 2025 from 23:00, as a lot of rain (30mm) fell on Thursday.
Flooding will affect fields, gardens and isolated mill and farm properties between Broadbridge Heath and Pallingham Quay. Properties nearer Pulborough such as at Pallingham Lock could be affected from 04:00 on 19/12/2025. Only isolated showers are forecast on Thursday evening, Friday and over the weekend. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce at Broadbridge Heath by 03:00 on 19/12/2025, and by 18:00 on 19/12/2025 nearer to Pulborough. River levels should return nearer to normal by Saturday near Horsham, but not until next week near Pulborough.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Activate any flood protection products you may have including in Wanford, if you have them.
