River levels are now near normal through Horsham, Broadbridge Heath and Wanford. River levels are high, but falling through Newbridge near Billingshurst and Pallingham Quay. Flood impacts near Newbridge and Pallingham Quay will continue to ease, but are still high enough to affect fields, gardens and roads. A Flood Alert remains in force to account for these impacts. No new property flooding is expected today. Please continue to take care in and around flood affected areas, flood water can contain hidden dangers. A small amount of rain is predicted Tuesday and Wednesday, which shouldn’t affect river levels significantly. But rain on Thursday 20/2/2020, may cause river levels to rise again, and potentially see flood risk return. Please remain prepared for the possibility of flooding to return later in the week.
