The River Uck has fallen significantly at Buxted following Sunday's rainfall. Some minor flooding impacts could continue to affect rural roads, gardens and riverside properties through Buxted. A Flood Alert remains in force to describe these impacts. Only isolated showers are forecast for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. River levels should start returning to normal levels from Monday night and into Tuesday morning. More rain is forecast for Friday 01/03/2024. Riverside properties in Buxted are encouraged to keep flood protection products installed, or close by, if you have them and take steps to reduce the impact of flooding. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. We will re-issue this Flood Warning if the risk of flooding increases.
