River levels in Buxted are high, but steadily falling, following Friday morning's rain. A dry day is forecast for Friday, which should allow the river to return to a more normal level by Friday evening. Some rain is forecast for both Saturday and Sunday. At the moment less than 10mm is expected Saturday, but 25mm of rain forecast for Sunday, which could cause some further flooding. Please remain prepared for the possibility of flooding on Sunday 06/11/2022. Riverside properties in Buxted are encouraged to keep their flood protection products close by, or installed, if you have them. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast, and we will re-issue this Flood Warning if we believe properties are expected to flood.
