The Western Rother is high and rising in Fittleworth, following Thursday and Friday morning's rain. Minor flooding will continue to affect gardens, roads, and fields, and be close to Fittleworth Mill. From 14:00 06/02/2026 flooding could be very close to Fittleworth Mill and nearby properties, in Fittleworth. Isolated showers are forecast Friday afternoon. River levels are unlikely to fall at Lodsbridge until Sunday morning, as another 10mm of rain is forecast Saturday morning. Flood impacts could increase Saturday in Fittleworth. Further significant rainfall could be possible Monday and Tuesday. River levels will remain high next week, with more periods of flooding. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have in Fittleworth. This message will be updated by 20:00 07/02/2026.
