Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are high but continue to fall at the Buildwas river gauge following recent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected to continue.
Actual peak:- Buildwas 6.35m Thursday evening, 04/01/24.
We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and liaising with Local Authorities. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and avoid contact with flood water.
This message will be updated by 7pm tomorrow 07/01/24, or as the situation changes.
