Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High river levels on Sunday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 15 February 2026 from 12:00PM as a lot of rain is forecast (20mm).
From the early hours of Sunday (15/02/2026), widespread rain is forecast. If as much rain falls as predicted, flooding could affect property at Slaughter Bridge on the Coolham Road, as well as isolated farm buildings, fields and rural roads between Coolham and Henfield. It is possible water may approach gardens of Church Close, Shipley. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce by 08:00PM on 15/02/2026. An additional 20mm is possible on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, which could cause flood risk to return.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Don't put yourself or others at risk . Avoid roads that flood, including Slaughter Bridge and Coolham Road.
This message will be updated by 8:00PM on 15 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
