Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High river levels on Sunday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 15 February 2026 from 02:00PM as a lot of rain is forecast (20mm).
From the early hours of Sunday, widespread rain is forecast. If as much rain falls as predicted, flooding could affect gardens of Tanbridge Park, Blackbridge Court, and Arunside School fields. From 07:00PM on 15/02/2026, flooding will affect gardens of mill properties between Broadbridge Heath and Billingshurst, also the A272 Newbridge Road. From 06:00AM on 16/02/2026, properties at Pallingham Lock could be affected. The river should be falling in all locations by Monday afternoon. An additional 20mm is possible on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, which could cause flood risk to return.
We are closely monitoring the situation . Our automatic sluice at Provender Mill is operating to reduce flood risk.
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have . Install flood protection products in Wanford, if you have them.
