Flooding possible. Be prepared.
The River Arun is higher than normal, and still rising near Pallingham Lock. Minor flooding will continue to affect fields, rural roads, and gardens of isolated mill properties near Broadbridge Heath, and at Pallingham Lock. Only isolated showers are forecast Thursday, Friday, and over the weekend. River levels should begin to fall at Pallingham Lock by 22:00 19/02/2026, and will continue to fall in Horsham and near Broadbridge Heath. River levels will continue to slowly fall on Friday and through the weekend, returning near to normal in Horsham by Friday, and by Sunday near Pallingham Lock. However, unsettled weather could continue throughout February, so further periods of flood risk are possible. Our automatic sluice at Provender Mill is operating to reduce flood risk. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have in Wanford. This message will be updated by 20:00 20/02/2026.
