Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

Rain is forecast from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday. From 23:00 on 18/02/2026, minor flooding could affect fields, rural roads, and possibly the gardens of Tanbridge Park, Blackbridge Court, Arunside School fields, gardens of mill properties near Broadbridge Heath. From 10:00 on 19/02/2026 minor flooding could affect gardens near Pallingham Lock. If more rain occurs than expected, isolated property flooding is possible. Only isolated showers are forecast Thursday afternoon, Friday, and over the weekend. River levels should begin to fall by 10:00 on 19/02/2026 Thursday morning in Horsham, and by 22:00 on 19/02/2026 Thursday evening at Pallingham Lock. River levels will continue to slowly fall on Friday and through the weekend. Unsettled weather could continue throughout February, with further periods of flood risk possible. Our automatic sluice at Provender Mill is operating to reduce flood risk. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have in Wanford. This message will be updated by 20:00 on 19/02/2026.
