Flooding possible. Be prepared.
The River Arun is high near Pallingham Lock. Flood water will continue to be in fields. Only isolated showers are forecast on Monday and Tuesday. River levels should begin to fall at Pallingham Lock by 5:00PM on 16/02/2026, and continue to fall in all other communities. Levels should return near to normal in most communities by Tuesday evening. However, widespread rain is forecast on Wednesday morning. If as much rain falls as is currently predicted, from 8:00PM on 18/02/2026, flooding could affect fields, rural roads, and possibly gardens of Tanbridge Park, Blackbridge Court, Arunside School Fields, gardens of mill properties between Broadbridge Heath and Billingshurst, and near Pallingham Lock. River levels should peak, and begin to fall by 4:00PM on 19/02/2026 in Horsham, but not until 6:00AM on 20/02/2026 near Pallingham Lock. Unsettled weather could continue throughout February. Our automatic sluice at Provender Mill is operating to reduce flood risk. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have in Wanford. This message will be updated by 8:00PM on 17/02/2026.
